My Research Group
  • Yonghwan Jo (3rd yr Ph.D.) studies commodity markets. He is a recipient of the highly selective NRF Global Ph.D. Fellowship (USD 75K/3yrs, 2013~).
  • Minsung Kim (2nd yr Ph.D.) studies the effect of industry R&D structures on the national productivity growth. He is also a recipient the hightly selective NRF Global Ph.D. Fellowship (USD 50K/2yrs, 2015~).
  • Hyunyoung Oh (1st yr Ph.D.) studies the Korean energy sector.
  • Sungchul Lee (1st yr Ph.D.) is working on Project BudgetWiser.
  • Junhyun Sung (1st yr MS) is interested in growth theory and income inequality.

  • Eun-Young Ko (Research Associate, 1st yr SNU Econ MS) studies how bargaining power shifts can affect CEO pay inequality. She is also working on Project BudgetWiser.
  • Blair Han (undergrad) studies the effect of economic inequality awareness on tax policy preferences for her URP (Undergraduate Research Program) research. She is also working on Project BudgetWiser.
  • Jaeyeon Kim (undergrad) studies the effect of government interventions on the Korean retail gasoline market.
